Mothers' Day Card for Next Year
I made this card a little late for this year so it will have to go towards next year's Mothers' Day. The Fuchsia Teapot & Teacup are by Sandi Samples. I colored them with Copic Markers and Copic Spica Markers. I then glazed them with Crystal Lacquer. I used as a background a paper with a crochet tablecloth that I've had for years and cannot find the name of. The teapot is pop dotted above the cup. The letters are Making Memories Little Letters Pastel Pink 1/2" Dot Alphabet. All on Cream cardstock.

Outlaw Challenges Creative Freebie Challenge ...April 22 - May 5 2012
I've joined a new digi stamp challenge group that is part of a group called Outlaw Challenges, to see if I can get motivated to get back into crafting. After spending two day cleaning and organizing my craft room, I finally got to work.. The digi is by Sandi Huggett, I used light blue Bazzill cardrstock sprayed with Marshmallow & Dew Drop Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, painted with Smooch inks (Siren,Silver Fox,Green Apple,Kiwi,Gold Lame,Tuxedo,Illuminate), Goldrush Smooch Glitz, and used Prima Bella Fleur flowers. I made the card a gatefold card with the dragonfly partially hanging over the opening. It felt good to finally get some crafting done. Not sure what I'll use the card for so didn't put words on it.

Made a Birthday Card for Mom from Nana Vic
I Used the Story Time image I colored in March to make a Birthday card for my Mom. I embellished the card with Prima flowers and used Creative Imaginations stickers for the lettering. I had colored it with Bic markers. One small error I found after getting it put together was that it opened on the wrong side, so the verse inside was written to make that appropriate. :-)

Flowers for Rusty
After Rusty our beloved 20 1/2 year fur baby kitty died last year in August, we were sent a lovely flower arrangement in his memory. I loved it so much I decided then I would remake it in silk as close as possible to place beside his little wooden urn to brighten his spot in the room. It took several months and seasons to get all the flowers and some time to get over the grief to do it. Then when I finally got it all put together we had nothing in the house to mix the permanent water in as once you use something with it, it is unusable again. Last week I finally got the last thing, the permanent water done and Rusty now has this lovely flower arrangement that is similar to the one that was sent beside his urn. Flowers are not something sent from our vet to many patients and it meant so much to us. I thought those that knew Rusty might like to see the flower arrangement I did, as they heard me promising to do it. :-)
Sassy Studio Celebrating 500 Steampunk Progressive Challenge
I've finally done a new card. It is for a progressive challenge at Sassy Studio Designs celebrating their 500th member on Paper Craft Planet. She is a Steampunk image called Josephine from Sassy Studio Designs by Lindsey Dyer that I did in blues, silver and black with colored pencils with metallic clock parts as embellishment and and a metallic paper I can't remember wear I got it from as the background. Hope you enjoy the card.

Nana Vic's Peoples' Choice Vickie's Quickie!!
Vickie at Nana Vic Digitals gave followers a choice from her store of her digitals for free, you were just supposed to use the one you chose this week. I chose the story time. I colored my digi stamp, just not sure where it will go yet. It will either embellish a great card for my mom or a scrapbook page about my grandmother, not sure yet. It was colored with Bic markers. Not sure I like them as much as my Copics.
